Helping Chronically Hungry Children
Snack Pak 4 Kids ® San Antonio is for students who are food insecure and are not getting sufficient food outside of school on a regular basis. These students are identified by their teachers using resources provided. Following parental or guardian permission, Snack Paks are then discreetly placed in each of those children’s backpack every Friday; a moment of anticipation and joy for these children.
Our core values are simple
Quality
We purchase brand name quality snacks we KNOW children will eat. We taste test with kids to ensure we are providing them shelf stable snacks they love while focusing on calories, calcium and protein.
Consistency
Snack Paks are delivered to classrooms every Friday throughout the school year. Before Thanksgiving, Holiday and Spring Breaks, Snack Paks are distributed multiple days to ensure every weekend is covered during the break.
Dignity & Respect
We believe every child deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, which is why the Snack Paks are discreetly placed in the child’s backpack when other children are not around.
